I might be feeling smug about my Beef Wellington but not so when handling ganache. Harriet’s 21st birthday cake tasted great but it was so hard to get the icing smooth.
I let the ganache cool down a bit because I thought it would easier to spread. Not so. It tasted delicious but didn’t look that flash. Lots more to learn with this.
I used Martha Stewart’s Red Velvet cake recipe and highly recommend it. You cut into a deep rich red moist cake – it looks sensational.
